Get a Free Bike Maintenance Training Lesson When You Join Leeds Bike Hub

Whether you need a bike, somewhere safe to park or just a few pointers to build up your confidence, you can get it all at the pop-up bike hub at Leeds Kirkgate Market. It’s central location makes is the perfect place to park up when visiting the city centre!

It costs just £10 to become a member and you’ll get free unlimited access to the secure, indoor bike storage (£1 per day for non-members), which is open between 7:30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday until 2nd October 2020.

There’s also a team of experts on-hand to help you with everything from maps to route info, road safety to bike maintenance, so whatever your burning questions, you can get the answer.

No wheels? No problem!

There’s a fleet of 37 bicycles, including 15 e-bikes, that you can loan for free. To register your interest in loaning a bike, simply send an email to bikehub@leeds.gov.uk or follow the link below to find out more about e-bike trials.

That’s not all! For a limited time only, there’s also chance to get a FREE 1-hour cycle maintenance lesson when you become a member.

Designed to teach you everything you need to know to keep your bicycle in tip-top condition, it will cover all the basics.

You’ll start with a run-through of the essential tools and spares you need to look after your wheels, before identifying the parts that are most likely to need replacement and how to know if they do. Then it’s on to the M-check, an 11-step health check for your bike, and a tutorial in removing and re-fitting wheels. To finish, you’ll learn how to mend a puncture and look at the adjustments you can make to get the most out of your bike.
