Have you heard about the BetterPoints programme? Well, it’s now live across West Yorkshire. The free rewards app makes walking, cycling and using public transport more rewarding.
BetterPoints is designed to encourage healthier, more sustainable everyday journeys across the region. Whether you’re commuting to Thorpe Park Leeds, heading into Leeds city centre after work, or travelling around West Yorkshire in your own time, the app rewards the journeys you’re already making.
How it works:
Using the free BetterPoints app, you can earn points whenever you walk, wheel, cycle or use public transport.
Those points can then be exchanged for high street vouchers, spent with local businesses, donated to local charities, or used to enter prize draws.
Extra rewards for people working across Thorpe Park Leeds!
As part of supporting BetterPoints at Thorpe Park Leeds, there will also be exclusive prize draws through the app for people who:
- Download BetterPoints, and
- Travel to and around Thorpe Park Leeds by walking, cycling or using public transport
These prize draws will run throughout the year, giving everyone more chances to win rewards simply by choosing active or sustainable ways to get to work.
Who can take part
Funded by the West Yorkshire Combined Authority as a pilot, BetterPoints West Yorkshire is free to download and open to anyone who lives, works or studies in:
Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds or Wakefield.
That means everyone working at Thorpe Park Leeds is eligible to take part.
