Yorkshire-based private healthcare provider, LivingCare Group, based here at Thorpe Park Leeds, has successfully rolled out new AI technology within patient scans and imaging, thanks to its investment in Siemens’ new Deep Resolve technology. Deep Resolve is now utilised in LivingCare Group’s MRI service in Leeds, strengthening diagnostic imaging capabilities and improving scan quality, speed and patient experience.
As the first private healthcare provider in the North of England to implement the new technology on a 3T scanner, LivingCare Group’s imaging team will see Deep Resolve use its AI capabilities to reduce image noise, enabling high-resolution MRI images to be produced more quickly. By shortening time spent in the scanner, the technology not only improves appointment availability and overall scanning capacity, it increases patient comfort.
Where traditional MRI scans rely on patients remaining recumbent for long periods of time to ascertain strong enough imagery for diagnosis, a shortened length of time in the scanner makes MRI more accessible for those living with intense pain, for whom staying still is a big barrier to effective imaging. By implementing AI technology in MRI scans, patients will have an easier route to successful diagnosis.
The introduction of Deep Resolve builds on LivingCare Group’s continued investment in diagnostic imaging, including its industry-leading 3T MRI scanner, which uses a powerful magnetic resonance to deliver enhanced image quality for more accurate diagnosis.
The technology will be available to patients requiring MRI scans here at LivingCare Group’s Thorpe Park clinic from February 2026.
