Thank you to all those that joined us last week at the sustainable travel event. It was a great day, and thankfully the sun stayed out for us!
For those that missed the event, Arriva were chatting to visitors about the new bus route to Thorpe Park Leeds and The Springs (if you’d like to know more about that, click here) and there was free pizza for lunch which proved super popular. Our Dr Bike event was hosted by our friends at Halfords, and the local police were in attendance providing free bicycle security marking.
“It was wonderful chatting with so many different people across various businesses at Thorpe Park Leeds during the day about their travel habits to and from work. We even had children enjoying sitting in the back of a police van and pretending to be arrested! One of the kind officers even gave chase to one of the children attending – very entertaining for all of us involved!” Alice, ParkLife Programme Manager.
