Throughout Health & Wellbeing Week at Thorpe Park Leeds, we’re offering free lunchtime outdoor bootcamp sessions, brought to you by Trinity Health & Fitness.
Lunchtime exercise is a great choice if you have trouble squeezing exercise into a busy schedule. Not only will these sessions give you a great workout in a short period of time, they’ll also help to boost your energy for the rest of the day!
There will be two sessions across the week, each lasting around 45 minutes and consisting of:
- 5 minute warm up to mobilise the joints and promote blood flow to the muscles, preparing the body for the main session;
- 30 minute main session, including a range of bodyweight movements which are designed to give a full body workout, through movement patterns and cardio exercise;
- 10 minute cool down, gradually decreasing the heart rate through walking, stretching and controlled breathing. Static stretches will help to re-instate the body and mind to its previous state.
The two sessions will take place at the following days and times:
- Monday 21st June at 12pm
- Wednesday 23rd June at 12pm
You’ll meet the instructors outside of TK Maxx at The Springs before heading across to Central Park (the new greenspace between The Springs and the Redrow homes) for a fun-filled group bootcamp session. You and the others in your group will take part in a series of activities to get your heart rate going, reduce stress and boost your energy!
Please come along to the session prepared with water, adequate/appropriate clothing and footwear, and most importantly ready to have fun! Please follow all Government guidance, and do not attend the session if you are showing or feeling any symptoms of covid-19.
